Sequence Narrative Testing
I did this to try out a different style, it used a soft graphite pencil and 6B for the darker lines. I drew it in a sharp and clear way using the pencil harder than I normally would.
Etching
I etched this image to explore dynamic figures and looking into backgrounds because I feel that my etchings doesn't utilize the space of the plate fully so I worked on this. I was also trying to get textured lines into it. The lines weren't deep enough and it didn't bite so I had to work on it again with a needle in a soft ground, and this etched better.

Dynamic Poses
Ink drawings of figures. I used a brush to lay down tone and then worked into it with a wooden, or bamboo stick. I tried to get the pose down as spontaneously as possible.

Map Task
Map Task
It took my images and decide to put then into a etching format, this was half to make the task interesting for me and half to test out etching methods. I wasn't overly happy with the final composition and exaction of the techniques. But as a learning process it was beneficial.
Childrens drawing
Children Drawings
These images were close ups of my face as a child, I used 2h pencil to do the outline and used water soluble ink for some tone. Looking at it I can see the two portrait faces are out of proportion and the eyes are too large, putting the whole piece down.
Again with this one the proportions are all over the place and the features are in the wrong place again. I think adding tone would help to define the faces.
The line work on these, works well with a greater subtly within the line. The tone on the bottom one is a bit all over the place.
